Tanzania safari
This 14-day honeymoon safari pairs Tanzania’s best wildlife parks with a quiet beach stay in Zanzibar. The safari part takes you through Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. You sleep in small tented lodges and camps with wildlife close by. Then you fly to Zanzibar to rest on white sand beaches and walk the old streets of Stone Town. We planned it for couples, so there is a good mix of game drives, time together and time to do nothing at all.
Your driver-guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to your hotel in Arusha. You stay at the Arusha Serene Hotel, a calm and friendly place at the foot of Mount Meru. It is a gentle, quiet start to your honeymoon.
After breakfast you spend the whole day in Arusha National Park. Many visitors skip this park, but it has green forest, open grassland and the pretty Momella Lakes. Mount Meru rises behind it all while you go on game drives and a guided walking safari. In the evening you return to Arusha Serene Hotel for a good night’s sleep.
You leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, known for its huge baobab trees and large elephant herds. On your game drives, look for lions, giraffes and antelope. You spend two nights at Lake Burunge Tented Camp, which looks out over Lake Burunge. It is private, with wide views, and a lovely spot for honeymooners.
After breakfast you drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It is a small park with a lot of variety, famous for its tree-climbing lions and the flamingos along the shore. Afterwards you visit the town of Mto wa Mbu to meet local people and learn about daily life. Tonight you stay at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge, in the wooded foothills of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Today you set off for the Serengeti, home of the famous Great Migration and some of the best game viewing in Africa. You do game drives on the way in and out on the wide plains. You spend two nights at Serengeti Baobab Camp, a romantic tented camp right out in the Serengeti, where you fall asleep to the sounds of the bush.
After one last game drive in the Serengeti, you cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for the views and any animals you spot. You then drop down into the green farmland and spend the night at Tloma Lodge, a friendly lodge on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
After breakfast we take you to Arusha for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Someone meets you there and drives you to Dhow Palace Hotel in Stone Town. The afternoon is free: walk around this UNESCO World Heritage site, or take it easy in your old, historic hotel.
A guide walks you through Stone Town: the narrow alleys, the spice markets, the Arab buildings and the long Swahili history behind them. Later you drive to the northeast coast and check in at the luxurious Next Paradise Boutique Resort, your home on the beach for the next four nights.
Your last days are for resting on the clean white beaches of Zanzibar. Lie by the turquoise sea, book a spa treatment, or try an optional trip such as snorkeling, diving or a visit to a spice farm. Each evening you are back at Next Paradise Boutique Resort for a romantic dinner at sunset, right by the ocean.
Have your last breakfast by the beach, then check out. At a time that suits your flight, we drive you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home. Safe travels, and thank you for spending your honeymoon with us.

Excellent Trip of a Lifetime
Our family had the trip of a lifetime over the holidays. Our guides were amazing and always checked to make sure that we had everything we needed. In less than 2 weeks we got to do a short safari in Ngorongoro Crater, did a family visit as part of the cultural experience (my kids are still talking about how good the food was!!), visited Moshi for shopping, went to Dar Es Salaam and did a 2 day trip to Zanzibar. The logistics were all very smooth and the guides added humor and levity to the entire trip. We were in good hands and will never forget the hospitality shown to us while there. The best thing about the packages is that you can work with the team to tailor it to your exact timeline. We had to get back to work and school so opted for a short Christmas trip but we'll eventually go back to do a longer summer trip. Forever indebted for such a great experience!
Trip of a life time!! But why not go back?
BEST VACATION!!!! Eye opening, amazing, Beautiful and REAL. The safari was my favorite part. Seeing animals you learn about and dream of seeing right in front of your face. The food was great I ask you to be open and not get your norm. Safe? Yes. Of course there’s times you question a new country, area and people. There was never a moment I was in question of people or my surroundings. Next time I’m bring my kids they’re older and can help pay… hahaha. I heard it’s best not to go during the rainy Season it’s just easier and more enjoyable to get around. Just what people have said.
Great experience
Had a wonderful Safari experience in Nothern Tanzania. Got to see some Lions very closely. Best experience in a very long time tbh.
It was an amazing experience!
